The Remembrance Square citizen participation initiative opened in Durango

The Remembrance Square citizen participation initiative was officially opened in the Plaza Ezkurdi square in Durango at 6.00 pm. Aitziber Irigoras, the Mayor of Durango, and Aintzane Ezenarro, Director of the Institute for Remembrance, Coexistence and Human Rights – Gogora, attended the ceremony, along with institutional representatives, politicians and local residents.

The exhibition will be open from 24 February to 2 March.

Programme:

o 7.00 p.m. on 25 February: talk on historical memory (Paco Etxeberria and Lourdes Erraztu, members of the Aranzadi Science Society )

o 7.00 p.m. on 29 February: round table with the participation of victims of terrorism (Mari Carmen Hernández, ETA victim and Amaia Etxaniz, BVE victim)
